Softball Recap: Rosehill Christian Comes Up Short on the Road Against John Paul II

Rosehill Christian had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the John Paul II Centurions by a score of 19-18 on Thursday.

Ashton Pinter led a balanced group of hitters, scoring four runs and stealing Two bases. while going 2-for-4. Janah Mease was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

With the victory, John Paul II broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.

While Rosehill Christian had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
