The Dexter Bearcats and the Bernie Mules will face off at 5:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Dexter's tournament run continued when they took on Puxico on Thursday. Dexter received a blow as they fell 61-46 to Puxico. The Bearcats have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Bernie unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 90-68 to Woodland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (60), the Mules still had to take the loss.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Bernie, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.
