Lakeland Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat. They lost 79-54 to Marion P. Thomas. One positive for the Lancers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Marion P. Thomas found their leader in sophomore Nairi Latham, who posted 32 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Latham has scored at least a third of Marion P. Thomas' points. Another player making a difference was Kaz'Heme Chitty, who had ten points.

Lakeland Regional's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Marion P. Thomas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-12.

Lakeland Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Marion P. Thomas, they will challenge Arts at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Marion P. Thomas has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
