They will head out to take on the North Monterey County Condors at 7:30 p.m. North Monterey County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Monte Vista Christian, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Monte Vista Christian strolled past Greenfield with points to spare, taking the game 36-19. That looming 36-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Mustangs yet this season.

Monte Vista Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Evan Vessey, who threw for 339 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.5% of his passes. Vessey's passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 315 passing yards. Monte Vista Christian's leading receiver Boston Ashe was Vessey's top target yet again, picking up 181 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, North Monterey County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Pacific Grove, falling 28-2.

Monte Vista Christian will have to contain Junior Hernandez as he made an impact in North Monterey County's last game. He rushed for 64 yards and one score.

North Monterey County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Monte Vista Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
