Wagner had already won seven in a row dating back to last season and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tottenville Pirates. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Pirates, too.

Wagner's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Tottenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wagner will challenge rival New Dorp at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tottenville is set to face off against their familiar foe McKee Vo-Tech at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
