Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ojai Valley). They were the clear victor by a 78-55 margin over the Highland Hall Hawks on Tuesday. With that win, the Spuds brought their scoring average up to 53.8 points per game.

Ojai Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Edelson led the charge by putting up 28 points. That makes it five consecutive games in which Edelson has scored at least a third of Ojai Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Edward Ying, who posted 18 points.

The victory (which was Ojai Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

The future could be bright for both Ojai Valley and Highland Hall: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Ojai Valley will try to hand Summit View their third-straight loss when the two meet on Thursday. Similarly, Highland Hall will try to hand Westmark their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
