Softball Recap: Pasco Takes a Loss

Pasco extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-6. They lost 16-0 to the Wesley Chapel Wildcats. The Pirates were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2025.

As for Wesley Chapel, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Wesley Chapel's part, they got a massive performance out of Kali Manco, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run was Manco's first of the season. Bailey Garrison was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pasco will welcome Hudson at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cobras have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Wesley Chapel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.5 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
