Basketball Recap: Druid Hills Victorious

Druid Hills's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They skirted past the Northview Titans 65-62. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Red Devils have posted since February 3rd.

Druid Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Northview, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Druid Hills will venture away from home to face off against Southwest DeKalb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwest DeKalb will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Druid Hills surely won't give up without a fight. Northview will take on North Springs in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Springs has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last five games.
