Baseball Recap: Crescent City Comes Up Short

Crescent City lost to P.K. Yonge back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders fell 6-1 to the Blue Wave. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Crescent City saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jed Lewis, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for P.K. Yonge, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

Crescent City will take on Bradford at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for P.K. Yonge, they will head out on the road to take on Interlachen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rams have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.82 runs per game on average), something the Blue Wave will no doubt try to take advantage of.
