Volleyball Recap: Madison Memorial's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Madison Memorial had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Milton Red Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Hannah Mlsna paced Madison Memorial's offense, picking up seven kills. Mlsna got some help from Stella Tomalin and her 13 assists. Mlsna was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Madison Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 25-14. As for Milton, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 26-15.

Madison Memorial wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Verona on the 1st. Milton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
