Portsmouth West has gone a perfect 3-0 against Dawson-Bryant recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Senators will take on the Hornets at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Portsmouth West and three for Dawson-Bryant.

Dawson-Bryant saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braden Schug, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Dawson-Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Portsmouth West, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Portsmouth West took their win against Dawson-Bryant when the teams last played back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 16-3 score. Will the Senators repeat their success, or do the Hornets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
