Vance Charter hadn't done well against Voyager Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Vance Charter Knights snuck past the Voyager Academy Vikings with a 62-56 victory. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Voyager Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Manny Pullium, who went 7-for-14 on his way to 18 points and five assists. Pullium has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was McKinley Hemsley, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.

Vance Charter pushed their record up to 16-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.9 points over those games. As for Voyager Academy, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 13-1 and their overall record down to 21-7.
