Basketball Recap: Eight Straight Home Wins for Knappa

Knappa won the last time they faced Nestucca and things went their way on Friday too. Everything went the Knappa Loggers' way against the Nestucca Bobcats as the Knappa Loggers made off with a 55-30 win. The Loggers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 games by 20 points or more this season.

Knappa's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.4 points per game. As for Nestucca, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Knappa will welcome Gaston at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Knappa is facing Gaston at the right time seeing as Gaston is stuck on a 17-game losing streak. As for Nestucca, they will take on Columbia Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Nestucca will also cruise into their next matchup with the timing on their side: Columbia Christian will have lost three straight heading into Monday's contest.
