Crown Point won the last time they faced Portage, and Ava Richie did her part to make sure it happened again. The Crown Point Bulldogs blew past the Portage Indians, posting a 52-20 win thanks in part to Richie, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 17 points and six steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Punak, who posted four points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in rebounds.

The victory was the third in a row for Crown Point, bringing their record for this year to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Portage, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Crown Point didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-38 loss against Penn on the 7th. As for Portage, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 58-16 defeat against Hammond Morton on the 10th.
