Hallsville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 62-47 victory over the Tyler Lions. This was a revenge game for the Bobcats: when they faced off against the Lions back in January, they had to take a 44-43 loss.

Hallsville pushed their record up to 24-9 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tyler, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Texas the next time they take the court. Tyler will head out to face Texas at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while Hallsville will host them at 7:30 p.m. on February 11th.
