Meanwhile, Neuse Charter entered their tilt with Union on Wednesday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 8-1 victory.

Neuse Charter's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Hobbton, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-7-1 record this season.
