Delta had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hutchison Hawks on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Delta took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-13, 25-15.

Coincidentally, Delta and Hutchison will both be playing Redington the next time they take the court. The Huskies will host the Huskies at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
