Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission South Takes a Loss

Shawnee Mission South and Shawnee Mission Northwest faced off in a cross-town battle on Saturday. The Raiders fell 2-0 to the Cougars. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Shawnee Mission South was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Shawnee Mission South's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-2. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.
