With a playoff win on the line, Dumas rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Burkburnett Bulldogs 8-0. Considering Dumas have won nine matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Burkburnett from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Haydn Lopez led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Dumas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those four games. Burkburnett is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-15-1.

Looking ahead, Dumas will challenge San Elizario at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. San Elizario will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Dumas surely won't give up without a fight. Burkburnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
