Roosevelt waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Santiago Sharks with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Roosevelt's win bumped their record up to 15-8-1. As for Santiago, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Roosevelt is set to take on their familiar foe Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Santiago will challenge rival Corona at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
