Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Channelview). They were the clear victor by a 74-52 margin over the Milby Buffs on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Falcons have posted since February 13th.

Milby's loss came despite strong showings from Delani Pestaina and Melvin Simien. Pestaina posted 20 points along with six boards and three steals, while Simien put up nine points and seven rebounds. The match was Pestaina's fourth in a row with at least ten points.

The victory made it two in a row for Channelview and bumps their season record up to 3-13. As for Milby, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Channelview will face off against Goose Creek Memorial at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Channelview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Milby, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-51 loss against Santa Fe on the 28th.
