A Season-Best Performance from Aydan Martinez-Brown Leads College Station over Hays

On Friday, College Station got the W thanks in part to Aydan Martinez-Brown playing the best football he has all season. Martinez-Brown picked up 103 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 54 yards and two touchdowns. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 70 yards.

The victory was the fourth in a row for College Station, bringing their record for this year to 7-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars challenges Lockhart at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Tacoma Ames Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Friday, Hays had to settle for second even though Tacoma Ames put up the best numbers he has all season. Ames threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns.

Corcoran Posts Huge Game in 58-18 Victory

The second College Station player making an appearance here is Cade Corcoran, and for good reason. He threw for 265 yards and four touchdowns. He has been hot , having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last five times he's played.

This year, Corcoran has thrown 26 touchdowns (and and only 1 picks) while averaging 238.2 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 37.13 passing yards per game.
