Basketball Recap: Bellarmine College Prep Takes a Loss

If Bellarmine College Prep was riding high fresh off their 70-46 takedown of Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bellarmine College Prep Bells fell 56-44 to the Junipero Serra Padres on Tuesday. The Bells haven't had much luck with the Padres recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Bellarmine College Prep's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Junipero Serra, they moved to 10-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Bellarmine College Prep will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Ignatius College Preparatory at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Ignatius College Preparatory will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Bellarmine College Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Junipero Serra, they will head out on the road to square off against Saint Francis at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: Saint Francis has lost three straight at home , while Junipero Serra has lost three on the road.
