After losing to Oceanside the last time they met, Grossmont decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Foothillers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Pirates on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Foothillers.

Alexis Holman paced Grossmont's offense, picking up eight kills. Holman got some help from Mila Moyer and her 21 assists.

Grossmont's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Oceanside, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Grossmont has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Clairemont on the 13th. Oceanside has also already played their next matchup (against Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
