Basketball Recap: Tarrant Piles Up the Points Against Dora

Tarrant won the last time they faced Dora and things went their way on Monday too. The Tarrant Wildcats claimed a resounding 84-52 win over the Dora Bulldogs. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 21 points or more this season.

Defeat or not, Dora got some senior leadership from Landon Kilgore and JP Carulli. Kilgore made all 6 shots he took racking up 17 points and five rebounds, while Carulli posted ten points and five rebounds. That's the most rebounds Kilgore has posted since back in January.

Tarrant pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 85.8 points per game. As for Dora, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Tarrant won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Carver Birmingham at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Tarrant's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. As for Dora, they and Jasper will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. Dora is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.4 points per game this season.
