Recap: Spencer Rockets vs. Neillsville Warriors
The Spencer Rockets's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 59-17 loss at the hands of Neillsville. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Spencer has scored all season.
Emma Nieman was Spencer's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Claudia Krause held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.
Spencer has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season. As for Neillsville, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-3.
Spencer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 46-32 defeat vs. Almond-Bancroft on the 10th. Neillsville will head out on the road to take on Bangor at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Bangor is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
