Flag Football Game Preview: Mission Bay Buccaneers vs. Cathedral Catholic Dons + How To Watch

The Mission Bay Buccaneers will face off against the Cathedral Catholic Dons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Mission Bay 11.8, Cathedral Catholic 10.6) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, Mission Bay was able to grind out a solid victory over Academy of Our Lady of Peace, taking the game 20-13.

Meanwhile, Cathedral Catholic got themselves on the board against Ramona on Thursday, but Ramona never followed suit. They strolled past the Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 15-0. Given the Dons' advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 58th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 200th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mission Bay's win bumped their record up to 13-10-1. As for Cathedral Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Mission Bay might still be hurting after the 27-7 defeat they got from Cathedral Catholic in their previous matchup back in September. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Dons' Sabrina Jutronich, who rushed for 27 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 124 yards and one TD.
