Volleyball Recap: Yucaipa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Citrus Valley last Thursday, Yucaipa came back down to earth. The Thunderbirds lost 3-0 to the Beaumont Cougars on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Thunderbirds in their meetings with the Cougars: they've now lost four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-15.

Yucaipa's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 10-14. As for Beaumont, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Yucaipa is set to square off against their familiar foe Redlands East Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Beaumont will face off against rival Citrus Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
