Football Recap: Brewster Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Brewster's offense. They had to suffer through a 30-0 loss at the hands of the Somers Tuskers. The defeat continues a trend for the Bears in their meetings with the Tuskers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Chase Prohaszka threw for 36 yards on five of 11 attempts.

Brewster's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Somers, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Brewster will challenge rival Yorktown at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Somers is set to face off against their familiar foe Lakeland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
