Volleyball Recap: Glendale Prep Academy Wins Going Away Against Mohave Accelerated

Glendale Prep Academy won the last time they faced Mohave Accelerated and things went their way on Thursday too. The Griffins put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Griffins.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Glendale Prep Academy took every set by at least 15 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-8, 25-10.

Raegan Dillon paced Glendale Prep Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Dillon got some help from Sanaiah Bajet and her 18 assists. Bajet was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 22 aces.

Glendale Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Mohave Accelerated, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Glendale Prep Academy will venture away from home to challenge Mountainside at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mohave Accelerated, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Trivium Prep at 6:00 p.m. on the 14th.
