Softball Recap: Central Valley Comes Up Short

If Central Valley was feeling good fresh off their 22-4 takedown of Gonzaga Prep on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears lost 18-2 to the Ridgeline Falcons on Friday. The Bears have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Central Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Ridgeline, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Central Valley will square off against rival Shadle Park at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ridgeline is set to challenge their familiar foe University at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
