Baseball Game Preview: Christian Heritage Sentinels vs. Poetry Community Christian Pioneer

Christian Heritage has gone a perfect 3-0 against Poetry Community Christian recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Sentinels will square off against the Pioneer at 5:00 p.m. Christian Heritage will be strutting in after a victory while Poetry Community Christian will be coming in after a defeat.

Christian Heritage is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Greenville Christian on Tuesday as they made off with an 18-3 win. The victory continues a trend for the Sentinels in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Ryder Swain made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Christian Heritage is 2-1 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Swain was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.
