Softball Game Preview: Baldwin Bears vs. Archbishop Carroll Patriots

The Baldwin Bears will face off against the Archbishop Carroll Patriots at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Baldwin lost 12-3 to William Penn Charter on Tuesday. The loss was the Bears' first of the season.

Addison Milner was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-4. Bella Murray was another key player, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Carroll came up short against Archbishop Ryan on Tuesday, falling 8-2. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Baldwin fell to 3-1. As for Archbishop Carroll, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Baldwin came out on top in a nail-biter against Archbishop Carroll in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, sneaking past 10-8. Will the Bears repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
