Basketball Recap: Dime Box's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Dime Box needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Ta'Niyah Auston. The Dime Box Longhorns walked away with a 48-39 win over Tournament Opponent on Friday thanks in part to Auston, who posted 30 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Dime Box's points.

Dime Box's victory bumped their record up to 3-5.

Dime Box wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 50-24 defeat against Milano on the 7th. Tournament Opponent has also already played their next contest, a 32-25 loss against Concordia Prep on the 6th.
