If Mitchell wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Linton-Stockton, they should've done a better job of containing  Taylor Warrick. The Miners put the hurt on the Bluejackets with a sharp  3-0 victory on Thursday thanks in part to  Warrick, who  had 15  digs and four  aces. She is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's  played.
 One reason for the win was Linton-Stockton's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-11,  25-7.
Linton-Stockton is  on a roll lately: they've  won 13 of their last 17 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record  this season. As for Mitchell, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record  this season.
 After both having extra time off, Linton-Stockton and West Vigo will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Mitchell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
