Gulf Pointe Latin is 0-5 against Santa Rosa Christian since December of 2022 but things could change on Tuesday. The Gulf Pointe Latin Gladiators will host Santa Rosa Christian at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

Santa Rosa Christian will be up against a hot Gulf Pointe Latin squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Gulf Pointe Latin claimed a resounding 61-24 victory over Covenant Christian. The Gladiators have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 26 points or more this season.

Dean Fillmore was his usual excellent self, going 5 for 6 en route to 17 points in addition to six boards and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Chace Porten, who posted nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santa Rosa Christian). They blew past Washington County Christian School 71-25 on Friday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 50-15.

Gulf Pointe Latin has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.4 points per game. As for Santa Rosa Christian, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
