Basketball Recap: Benjamin Vandenberghe's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Front Range Baptist over Victory Baptist

After flying high against Varsity Opponent on Thursday, Front Range Baptist came back down to earth. The Front Range Baptist Falcons took a hard 45-31 fall against the Victory Baptist Warrior on Friday. The match marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Falcons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Benjamin VanDenBerghe, who posted five points in addition to seven boards and three steals. VanDenBerghe is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tyler Hansen, who put up seven points and three steals.

Among those leading the charge was Isaiah Davis, who had 11 points. Dontaye Bell was another key player, putting up eight points.

Front Range Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Victory Baptist, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-10.

Front Range Baptist has already played their next contest (against Campion Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Victory Baptist has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Old Suwanee Christian.
