Baseball Recap: Aiken Takes a Loss

Aiken was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the North Augusta Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 on Monday.

Aiken saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Tindall, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Aiken's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for North Augusta, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-13.

Coming up, Aiken will host South Aiken at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Augusta, they will head out to take on Silver Bluff at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
