Westside is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Pendleton just ended the team's four-match winning streak last Wednesday. They lost 4-1 to the Bulldogs. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Westside struggled afterwards.

Meanwhile, Emerald's game last Thursday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Southside by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Emerald in their meetings with Southside: they've now lost five in a row.

Westside now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Emerald, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
