After a string of eight wins, Maple Grove's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They took a blow against the Andover Huskies, falling 98-65. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crimson came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Huskies are ranked 144th).

Maple Grove's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Andover, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maple Grove has already played their next contest (against Totino-Grace), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Andover has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Osseo.
