Soccer Recap: Western Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Western's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spring Valley Grizzlies. Western were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Spring Valley apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Western's goal came courtesy of Jacqueline Acosta-Trevizo, which was the first she's scored this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Western and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Spring Valley, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Western is set to take on their familiar foe Clark at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Spring Valley will challenge rival Durango at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
