Softball Recap: St. Joseph Drops Highest Score of Season Against Leechburg

St. Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-2 to the Leechburg Blue Devils. On the bright side, the two- run effort marked the Spartans' highest-scoring contest to date.

St. Joseph saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Damico, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. That hit was Damico's first of the season.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Leechburg, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-7.

As of now, neither St. Joseph nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
