Soccer Game Preview: Central Valley vs. Mead

The Central Valley Bears will head out to square off against the Mead Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Central Valley didn't have quite enough to beat Gonzaga Prep and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mead challenged Lewis & Clark on Friday. Mead lost 7-2 to Lewis & Clark. While losing is never fun, Mead can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Lewis & Clark are ranked fifth).

Mead's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4. As for Central Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
