Softball Recap: Connally Comes Up Short

Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 17-1 to the Troy Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Connally's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Troy, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Connally will challenge McGregor at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Connally has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. Troy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
