Basketball Game Preview: Drake/Anamoose Raiders vs. Glenburn Panther

Drake/Anamoose is on a seven-game streak of home losses, Glenburn a 14-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Drake/Anamoose Raiders will host the Glenburn Panther at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Monday, Drake/Anamoose ended up a good deal behind Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] and lost 72-58.

Meanwhile, Glenburn came into Tuesday's matchup having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They breezed by Lewis & Clark [Berthold/Our Redeemer's Christian/North Shore] to the tune of 79-19 on Tuesday. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for the Panther this season.

Drake/Anamoose's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Glenburn, their win bumped their record up to 3-14.

Drake/Anamoose strolled past Glenburn in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 57-40. Will Drake/Anamoose repeat their success, or does Glenburn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
