Soccer Recap: Buckeye Takes a Loss

Buckeye managed to keep up with Valley Forge until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bucks came up short against the Patriots, falling 4-1. Buckeye just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Their goal came courtesy of Dimitri Tenenika, who's now up to six this season.

Buckeye's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Valley Forge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckeye will host Cloverleaf at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Buckeye's defense better be ready for this one: Cloverleaf have averaged an impressive 6 goals per game this season. As for Valley Forge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
