Football Preview: Wekiva Mustangs vs. Oviedo Lions        
        
		
             The Wekiva Mustangs are on the road again  on Friday to play the Oviedo Lions at 7:00  p.m.
 Last Friday, Wekiva took a  blow against Lee County, falling  62-17. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states  (they are ranked 170th in Florida, while the Trojans are ranked seventh in Georgia).
 Meanwhile, Oviedo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 56.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three two weeks ago. They took their  match at home  with ease, bagging  a  49-14 victory over the Greyhounds. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won three contests by 35  points or more  so far this season.
  Chance Nixon continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 118 yards and two touchdowns, while also picking up 40 receiving yards. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards.  Jerome Curry also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
 Wekiva now  has a losing record at 2-3. As for Oviedo, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
