Volleyball Recap: Portland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Portland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars. The Highlanders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cougars earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-8, 19-25, 25-23.

Rowyn Kootz paced Portland's offense, picking up eight kills. Kootz got some help from Molly Reilly and her 11 assists. Vivian Letitia controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Portland's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Haddam-Killingworth, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-20.

As of now, neither Portland nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
