It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mater Academy Charter had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They beat Southridge by a goal, winning 3-2. The win made it back-to-back wins for Mater Academy Charter.

They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of Jhon Perez and Gabriel Garcia, who scored all three of Mater Academy Charter's goals. The pair have combined for a total of three so far this season.

Mater Academy Charter now has a winning record of 9-8-1. As for Southridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.

Mater Academy Charter will take on Miami Beach at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Miami Beach is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Southridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
