Baseball Recap: Chavez Takes a Loss

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Chavez was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 8-1 to the Vaughn White Tigers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the White Tigers earlier this season, when they won 12-2.

Chavez saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Cordon, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Cordon has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Chavez has already played their next contest, a 0-0 loss against Serra on the 3rd. As for Vaughn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 17-0 win against Reseda on the 3rd.
